What do you like most about your major?
It offers the opportunity to explore my interests in a variety of different fields before deciding what the best field of study is for me.

I loved Advertising 300 with Steve Hall because it broadened my
knowledge of the world of communications and also let me expand my creativity through interesting and fun projects.

I love the Division of General Studies Council because it makes me feel that my voice is heard and that I am helping future students have a positive experience in General Studies.

Star Course is filled with people like me who have a passion for music. The people involved are really cool and it's fun working the shows.

Describe your most memorable experience at Illinois.
I was lucky enough to watch the Chimes Master perform "Hail to the Orange" in the bell tower of Altgeld Hall my freshman year. It really was quite an experience watching her push down these massive wooden bars to produce a melody that everyone in the campus hears and enjoys.

What advice do you have for students interested in Illinois?
The more you get involved, the more at home you will eventually feel. U of I may seem big at first, but by the end of the first semester, you will create friendships that will last an entire lifetime.

Why do you belong at Illinois?
Although this school is quite large, I feel at home because of the
friendly environment, great opportunities, and nice people.
