What do you like most about your major?

I like the relatively small class sizes and the accessibility of the instructors.

What are your favorite courses within your major and why?

I really enjoyed Speech and Hearing Science 330: Introduction to Phonological Disorders and Speech and Hearing Science 200: General Phonetics because they were very well taught and I took a lot of knowledge away from the class.

What are your favorite extra curricular activities related to your major?

Being involved with NSSHLA's Valentine’s Day activities.

What are your favorite extra curricular activities NOT related to your major?

I love being involved with the Alumni Night that my college hosts. Being a part of AHS Student Council has helped me make many important contacts out in the "real world."

Describe your most memorable experience at Illinois.

My most memorable experience was when Illinois won the Final Four Basketball game. It was a very exciting time here on campus and the amount of energy on campus was amazing.

Why do you belong at Illinois?

I feel like I belong at the University of Illinois because of the friends I have made and the advisors and instructors I have come in contact with. Working as a student intern in the College of ACES’ academic programs has had a real impact on me. As an undergraduate student here I do not think I would have excelled without the experiences and support I have received from my work experience.
