What do you like most about your major?

There are so many career paths that I can take with my major, so I’ll never feel stuck in one position or company.

What are your favorite courses in your major?

So far, I’ve only taken one, but I liked it because the professor was really into the class and her enthusiasm was contagious. The accounting class challenged me to consider problems I never experienced before. I enjoy accounting because the subject is different from anything I previously studied.

Describe your most memorable experience at Illinois.

I was approached by the Deans to start the first national undergraduate chapter of the National Black MBA Association, which previously included only graduate students and professionals. Getting to know the other people that worked on this project with me and seeing the organization form from the ground up was amazing.

Why do you belong at Illinois?

The campus is so big that I feel like I’m constantly meeting new people, but I still feel at home because I’m always running into someone I know.
