Where is your favorite spot on campus to study?

Curled up on a couch in the basement of the English Building

Where is your favorite spot on campus to hang out with your friends?

I'm not sure that this qualifies as "on campus," but karaoke night at White Horse is absolutely the best place to hang out.

Where is your favorite spot on campus to relax?

Under a tree on the Quad, preferably with a picnic

What is your favorite club or organization on campus that you are involved with?

Campus Honors Program

What do you like most about your major?

Political Science has given me the flexibility to take courses within my major while also exploring a variety of different fields. Each semester, I was able to compliment my Political Science courses with classes in philosophy or English, but I also had the freedom to branch out into unrelated areas like meteorology and theater.

What are your favorite courses within your major?

As a soon-to-be law student, I have particularly enjoyed courses in political theory and Constitutional law. The classes were practical, thought-provoking, and (because I'm a dork) fun.

What are your favorite extra curricular activities related to your major?

Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science honorary society

What are your favorite extra curricular activities NOT related to your major?

Honors Student Council, Alternative Spring Break, Illini Union Board (both musicals and the Women's Programs committee)

Describe your most memorable experience at Illinois.

Last year, I had the opportunity to perform on Assembly Hall stage in front of 5,000 people. I have never felt more like a rock star! I'll also never forget being on campus during the NCAA basketball championship in 2005.

Why do you belong at Illinois?

Although we have a large student population, I have never felt anonymous. I rarely walk between classes without seeing someone I know, which has really made the campus feel like a community for me. There is also something very unifying about sitting in a sea of bright orange t-shirts at a football game.
