Describe your most memorable experience at Illinois.
My first day of classes at the University of Illinois are some of my most memorable college moments because they set the stage for my next four years. These years hold many memories and experiences that have shaped me as a student and as a person.
Why do you belong at Illinois?
By attending the University of Illinois, I feel that I have a great opportunity to graduate with a degree that will allow me to accomplish many of my professional goals and to have a positive effect on others. I think that by being a student athlete, I play a part in breaking down stereotypes about college athletes—that they’re not bright or don’t care about anything but their sport. The University of Illinois has a very diverse atmosphere, something I love and embrace. By coming to Illinois, I have been exposed to different perspectives and gained new insights, which I feel is important for all students who attend this university to experience.
