Majors to Choose From

Hello Future Illini,

My name is Chris, and I am a sophomore in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Currently my major is undecided, but I am interested in pursuing a degree in Business Administration.

The University of Illinois is a great place to learn about what career you would like to pusue in the future. Coming into the University unsure about what I planned to do, I took a variety of courses that allowed me to explore different fields and topics ranging from Spanish, English, and Latino/a Studies. In the end, I found that my interests lie with business. Although challenging, I am very glad to have taken different classes to learn about a wide variety of subjects. In the end, I feel that the University has made me a much more well-rounded person. This allows me to view the world from different perspectives.

This University is great for those who are unsure about their future intentions since there are hundreds of courses that allow you to get a feel for what you like best. Good luck to you all!
