Residence Halls
Hello Future Illini,
The Residence Halls at the University of Illinois provide students with a place to live, eat, and socialize. Most of the rooms are double occupancies, but triples and quads are also available. In a double, two beds, desks, chairs, shelves, drawers, and closets are included. The rooms also come with free Ethernet (internet), cable, and phone connections. The Residence Halls are equipped with lounges for studying or relaxing, computer labs, laundry rooms, dining halls, game rooms, and some even have exercise facilities, libraries, and kitchens.
But the Residence Halls at the University of Illinois offer students more than just a place to live; they provide a built in social network. The Resident Advisors (RAs) and the hall staff work to create programs that get students involved on campus. The people you meet on your floor, in the dining hall, and through various social events become some of the closest friends you will make in college. Enjoy!
