Summer 2008 Refund Schedule
Reduction of Program Range
If you reduce your course enrollment to a lower assessment range (e.g., from Range I to Range II), you receive a refund of the full difference between the two ranges, provided the change is made by the refund deadline for the particular session. No refund is available thereafter.
In all cases, a student who is enrolled in only one course and who wishes to discontinue enrollment must withdraw from the University by completing the withdrawal process by the stated deadline.
Refund Deadlines
You may be released from your obligation to pay all tuition and fees by canceling your registration by 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 9, for Session S1 (4 week) and SF (12 week), and 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 6, for Sessions 1 (Independent Study) and S2 (8 week).
You may be released from your obligation to pay part of the tuition and fees by:
- Withdrawing from the University by:
- 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 30, for Session S1 (4 week)(Registered for only this session)
- 5:00 p.m., Monday, July 7, for Session SF (12 week)(Registered for only this session)
- 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 11, for Session 1 (Independent Study (Registered for only this session)
- 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 11, for Session S2 (8 week)(Registered for only this session)
- Reducing your program by:
- 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, for Session S1 (4 week)
- 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 23 for Session SF (12 week)
- 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, for Session 1 (Independent Study) and S2 (8 week)
Refunds of Special Fees

- SORF. A refund of SORF is available to those students who do not desire to participate. This refund is available during the week of June 23 through June 27 by presenting a photo ID at the Customer Service window in 100 Henry Administration Building.
- Flight Training Fee. If you withdraw from a flight-training or glider course, you will receive a refund of the unused portion of the flight-training, glider, or aviation course fees, upon recommendation of the Institute of Aviation.
